C.E.R.T.H.
The Centre for Research and Technology – Hellas (CE.R.T.H.) was founded in March 2000, as a legal non-profit entity organized under private law, under the auspices of the General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT), of the Greek Ministry of Development, sited in Thessaloniki Technology Park (TTP) and its structure includes the Central Directorate and five Research Institutes:
· Chemical Process Engineering Research Institute - C.P.E.R.I
· Informatics & Telematics Institute - I.T.I.
· Hellenic Institute of Transport - H.I.T.
· Institute of Agrobiotechnology - IN.A.
· Institute for Solid Fuels Technology & Applications - I.S.F.T.A.
CE.R.T.H. has the mission to carry out basic and applied technology-oriented research and to develop new products and services with industrial, economic and social impact, with special emphasis in exploiting research results and in providing services for the R&D support of production process and the financial and social development especially in the fields:
(a) Chemical & Physical process engineering
(b) Information, Telematics and Telecommunications
(c) Agrobiotechnology with emphasis on biotechnological application in the food production cycle and
(d) Transportation
(e) Technology for exploitation of solid fuels and their by-products
Thessaloniki Technology Park / Management & Development Corporation (TTP/MDC S.A)
TTP /MDC S.A. was founded in 1994 with the participation of FORTH/CPERI and major industries of Central Macedonia:

The company promotes and enhances the activities of the Thessaloniki Technology Park in close cooperation with the Association of Industries of Northern Greece, Universities and research centres. TTP/MDC is a member of the International Association of Science Parks (IASP), and a partner of the Hellenic Association of Science and Technology Parks
Incubator Building
The Incubator Building is for companies, natural persons, or legal entities interested in transforming an innovative idea for a new technology, product or service into a successful business.
A fully equipped environment has been created in the Incubator Building (high speed networks), so as the new entrepreneurs to act unobstructed in fields such as new technologies or commercial practices, e.g. e-commerce, specific software development, laboratory analyses, etc.
